Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago in an area called South Shore. I began writing at twelve years old in the seventh grade and continued writing through my four years at South Shore High School. There, in my sophomore year, I experienced my first formal training as a fiction writer under Mr. Larry Shapiro, a mentor and dear friend to this day. I continued writing through college, spending two years at Columbia College and one year at DeVry Institute of Technology. Through seventeen years of marriage, three children, and a successful career as a Software Developer, I continue to write.
In recent years I have taken steps to pursue my writing on a professional level by networking with other artists to shoot film projects. This choice is not only about being a professional artist. My most primary reason for pursuing art is driven by the desire to connect with people to encourage and inspire them. I engage and pursue my art because I have a genuine love for it and people.
